Net Celebrates The Sticker With His 1xDebut Stuck

1xRun: Tell us a little bit about this series of work?
Net: This particular body of work is celebrating the sticker. From every imaginable source, graffiti writers seek out ANY type of sticker stock that can be written over, legibly, to stick up on the streets and elsewhere. From shipping companies to record labels to the post office to airlines, writers acquire the stickers that these companies put out by any means necessary in the name of furthering their cause. The work here is a culmination of collecting blank stickers throughout the years and putting them to use via original collage, sticker packs and a limited edition print.

1xRun: Anything immediate you would like us to highlight?

1xRun: Tell us a little bit about your process and how the idea and execution came about for this series.
Net: I had a surplus of vintage stickers laying around, I hand drew on 20K of them! It took 6 months of 8 hour days to achieve that number. Initially I was going to build a sticker tower, but that plan fell to the wayside, I didn’t have enough materials or time to do that. I ended up making multiple collages and sticker packs and putting them up and gifting and trading stickers. That then brought us to where we are now.
