1x: What materials were used to create this piece?
Edwin Ushiro: First, everything was hand drawn in graphite and ink with watercolor on vellum. Second, they were scanned into Photoshop for additional rendering and colors. Third, the image is printed onto acetate and painted with acrylics and sealed with a UV matte varnish. Fourth, the final painting is mounted onto Lucite.

1x: When was the piece originally drawn?
Edwin Ushiro: I began this piece back in 2014 and it took around a month to complete.

1x: Tell us a little bit about your process and how the idea and execution came about?
Edwin Ushiro: My process originally evolved from experimental work produced in printmaking class. Trial and error led me from using paper to transparent media where I feel offers the impression of capturing these projected images momentarily.
