From April 3rd – 8th over 20 artists will head to Ostend, Belgium for The Crystal Ship, an international mural festival which takes over the coastal Belgian city. With murals, installations, original artwork and print exhibitions and lots more, The Crystal Ship features over 20 artists bringing new work on a world class scale. This year 1xRUN has partnered up with The Crystal Ship for The Crystal Ship x 1xRUN 2017 Print Suite with new editions from nearly a dozen of this year’s featured artists. C215, Nelio, Pastel, Axel Void, Ricky Lee Gordon, Jaune, Bue The Warrior, Schellekens & Peleman, Francisco Bosolleti and Chase The Artist. “With over 50.000 visitors to inaugural year of The Crystal Ship, we did not hesitate to invite The Crystal Ship for a second year in a row, instead of bi-annually. We want to put Ostend on the map as a European travel destination in the field of public art. We have the ambition to collect 60 works of internationally prestigious artists in our city by 2018,” Ostend Mayor Johan Vande Lanotte said.
