1xRun: Was this piece part of a recent theme, series or show that you had? If so how does it fit into that given grouping?
Bask: I’ve started the Because Art Should Kill series a few years back which has included street signs, paintings, murals, and now these cut-out men. The signature image is a face with white eyes wearing a bandana and the slogan Because Art Should Kill (BASK).
1xRUN: What materials was this piece created with?
Bask: These pieces are hand cut out of .5″ plywood and the signs each figure is carrying is cut out of .25″ plywood.
1xRun: When was the piece drawn and created?
Bask: The set available here on 1xRUN is fresh out of the oven and made earlier this month.
1xRun: Anything immediate you would like us to highlight?
Bask: Each piece is hand-made, painted, assembled and clear-coated making each one unique and one of a kind. That goes for the crates that they will be shipped in. Each piece also includes a certificate of authenticity and 2 white screws for proper installation. The figures have pre – drilled holes through the eyes.

Bask: Each figure and crate has approximately 4 hours of work in it.
