“BLDG Refuge in Covington Kentucky is a group I’ve done some work with before. They have a gallery and they print things for a number of artists, they also have a branding/design component. I met them back in 2010, sorta by accident while they had a show up by The London Police, and have stayed in touch since. Earlier this year they asked me to present my work at their gallery and I accepted. For this exhibition we had some older work, but also presented some new Coroplast signs and a new print.
In addition we did some installations around Covington, and two wall installations – one in Cincinnati at Arnold’s Bar & Grill, one of the oldest bars in the city, and another at UpTech, a technology company incubator in Covington.
It was a good trip – Covington has a good vibe and is a city in the middle of a serious transition. Some are calling it “the Brooklyn of Cincinnati” which seems accurate enough although it feels an overused phrase these days.” – Cash For Your Warhol
