We welcome back California artist Hueman as she joins us for Murals In The Market 2016! The festivities kick off officially on September 15th, and as we welcome in faces new and old to Detroit we take a look at the diverse roster of local and international artists joining us this year with a Murals In The Market Artist Spotlight on Hueman. A fan favorite nearly since the inception of 1xRUN, Hueman has been with us since the early days, dropping her first release (RUN #00037) way back in May of 2011. Since then, both 1xRUN and Hueman have come a long way, and we have had the pleasure of working with the Bay Area artist as a 1xRUN sponsored artist for POW! WOW! Hawaii not one, but two years in a row, and as one of Inner State Gallery’s featured artists at Scope Miami Beach 2015. Over the past 12 months Hueman has been a force to be reckoned with in the contemporary art scene, doing it all from creating the color scheme for the 2016 US Olympic Basketball team, knocking out amazing murals all over the world and opening a beautiful solo exhibition in San Francisco.
