Gingerbread Man Dissected by Jason Freeny

1xRun: Tell us a little bit about this piece, when was it created and with what materials? Is the original still for sale?
Jason Freeny: I created this piece back in 2009 with Maya, Photoshop and Illustrator. Yes, the original is still for sale.

1xRun: Tell us how the idea and execution came about?
Jason Freeny: I wanted to create a holiday themed illustration for my anatomy series. The piece took about 3 weeks from start to finish I would say.

1xRun: You have had an interesting collaboration since we talked with you last, can you tell us a bit about that?
Jason Freeny: Worked with Luke Chueh on dissecting one of his bears titled “Self Medicated”. Luke visited my solo show in Los Angeles this past spring, I suggested doing a collaboration and he already had the idea in his head. It happened very quickly.
