Kenor Returns With Magneze

1xRUN Thru Interview
Magneze by Kenor

1xRun: Tell us a little bit about this piece, was it part of a recent series? Is the original painting still available?
Kenor: This piece is my interpretation of the EP Magneze by Surgeon. This piece is not part of a series, it is unique. Here I have integrated all the styles that I’ve used in the last couple years. Combining it with different languages, abstract geometry, dimension, and deconstruction. This canvas is available, I’ve saved it for this specifically for this RUN.

1xRun: When was this piece created and with what materials?
Kenor:  This piece was created in September of 2013 over the course of about 20 days using a mixture of spray and acrylic paints.

1xRun: Tell us how the idea and execution came about?
Kenor: Some time ago I wanted to do a tribute to the sound of Surgeon.  As I listened to the EP, the idea for this piece came about and I decided to play the sound in the canvas.

1xRun: What is unique about this piece?
Kenor: It is “sound”.

1xRun: Why should people buy this piece?
Kenor: If you have this piece, you have the most important piece of my last decade. This piece closes an era in my creation.

1xRun: Describe the piece in one gut reaction word.
Kenor: Floating-point.
