1xRUN Thru Interview
Roll Your Own by Elliot Francis Stewart

1xRUN: Tell us a little bit about this piece, how long did this piece take?
Elliot Francis Stewart: This piece was specifically illustrated and painted for 1xRUN. I wanted to draw a sexy girl rolling a cigarette and I got carried away.  It took me about 24 hours from start to finish.

1xRUN: What materials were used to create this piece?
Elliot Francis Stewart: It is a mix of ink and watercolour on paper.

1xRUN: Do you listen to music while you work? If so what?
Elliot Francis Stewart: I typically find myself listening to oldies radio stations.

1xRUN: If you could collaborate with any living artist who would it be and why? Any deceased artists?
Elliot Francis Stewart: Sergio Aragones because he’s amazing! For the latter it would be Will Eisner to pick his amazing brain.
