1xRUN: Tell us a little bit about this piece, anything immediate you would like us to highlight about this image?
Sen2: This is one of my classic pop pieces. I strive to create a feeling of nostalgia. I want my pieces to look modern, but give you that retro feeling. The style is homage to one of my favorite artists, Roy Lichtenstein.

1x: When was it originally drawn/created?
Sen2: I created this image specifically for 1xrun. I wanted to have an image that I had never used before.  I love the old comic style of images of beautiful women and I add my personal touch of abstract to it. The hand embellished prints will have graffiti handstyle elements included.

1x: Why should people buy this one of these prints?
Sen2: I don’t release prints often and when I do they are normally at a higher premium. I wanted this to be a way for all my fans to be able to have their own piece.

1x: Describe this image in one gut reaction word.
Sen2: Bellissimo!!!!!

1x: It’s been a little bit since our last release with you, bring us up to speed on what you’ve been up to over the few months to wrap up 2017 and start the new year?
Sen2: Hustling!! I can’t stop moving. I recently hurt myself and couldn’t be in the studio. Being away from my passion had me going crazy. Even if art wasn’t my career I could not stop creating.

1x: What are some of the ways you have been trying to push yourself with your work over the last year?
Sen2: This year was my return to art Basel Miami. I showed a few pieces at Scope, and focused on trying to get gallery representation in locations I’ve never showed before.

1x: What are some strides you feel you’ve made in your work recently?
Sen2: I’ve have a few distinct styles, graffiti, pop and abstract and I’ve really enjoyed combining the styles to one.

1x: What was the last piece of art that you bought?
Sen2: The last piece of art Ive gotten was a gift from my brother Dash FC. We used to paint graffiti for years and years and I love that we’ve shared this journey to the fine art world.

1x: Do you have any big shows or events coming up that you’d like to share?
Sen2: This year is all about taking things to an international level, as well as finally having a show on the west coast. I have a few shows in the works around the globe. Follow me on Instagram and the dates will be revealed soon!!

1xRUN: Where else can people find you?
Sen2:  Instagram @sen2figueroa
