Two years have passed since Nychos and Christian Fischer began filming their first documentary “The Deepest Depths of the Burrow” at our studio in Detroit, MI where they spent two months in residency preparing for his first US solo exhibition at Inner State Gallery. This groundbreaking film takes you on a journey down the rabbit hole with this world-renowned graffiti artist and founder of the creative gallery/studio/agency, Rabbit Eye Movement as he travels the globe with some of his closest friends and crew members, The Weird.
There has not been a modern documentary that takes the average person so deep inside the lifestyle of today’s working street artist as this film does, showing what life is like to travel from city to city, country to country, painting walls and exhibiting in galleries, building their own brands and elevating themselves to almost rock-star levels of success and admiration. 1xRUN traveled to Vienna to attend the sold-out World Premiere of the film at the well-respected Gartenbaukino theatre in the heart of city. The film drew a crowd of over 800 people and was one of the theatres most successful premieres in recent history. Though no official dates have been set, the film will premiere in select US cities this summer, so stay tuned for more details as we find them out, and check out tons of photos after the jump!
