New York based artist Sam Spratt has worked with The Smithsonian Institute, National Geographic, Rolling Stone, created artwork for the game industry for brands like Tomb Raider, Mass Effect, and Borderlands, as well as album art for the music industry for Janelle Monae, Logic, and Childish Gambino. Spratt’s original piece was painted digitally with a Wacom Cintiq 24HD from scratch. He wanted to draw something shiny, so he did. That’s all there is to it. Sam Spratt: The original piece was painted digitally with a Wacom Cintiq 24HD from scratch. I wanted to draw something shiny, so I did. That’s all there is to it. It took roughly 18 hours.
