Saner’s Fragments Of The Soul In Philadelphia

Running through  December 9th, 1xRUN alumni Saner has a new exhibition Fragments of The Soul at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens Galleries(PMG). For this specific project, Magic Gardens worked with the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, where the Mexican artist created a permanent public mural in the Northern Liberties neighborhood as well as immersive installation at the gallery. Read on to check out videos and photos from the exhibition.

“This is one of our most dynamic exhibitions to date. Saner transformed the galleries at PMG into his own mystical playground, featuring murals, traditional paintings along with use of found objects and projections. Colorful and paradoxical, Saner’s work parallels Zagar’s mosaicked environment with site-specific murals, illustrations, video projections, and paintings created on salvaged material from Philadelphia. Fragments of the Soul explores what we have left behind in life and exposes the small, secret parts to our souls,” Philadelphia Magic Gardens writes of the exhibition.
