1xRUN: Tell us a little bit about this piece, is the original still for sale?
123Klan: Le voleur, is one of our iconic characters. He exists on a 60″ x 36″ canvas which is available at Yves Laroche Galerie. At first glance he looks like a common thief, but in reality he is a version of a modern Robin Hood.
1xRUN: When was this piece created and with what materials?
123Klan: This piece was created around 2007 originally. We do everything hand made first. Then character, fonts, and then we jump on illustrator.
1xRUN: Tell us how the idea and execution came about?
123Klan: As usual, it started as a joke between Scien and Klor.
1xRUN: How long did the piece take?
123Klan: A life.
1xRUN: What is unique about this piece?
123Klan: Our style. “The style is the message.”
1xRUN: Why should people buy this print?
123Klan: Because everybody deserve a nice poster (#french arrogance).
1xRUN: Describe the piece in one gut reaction word.
123Klan: Run!
1xRUN: Who are some of the artists you’re really excited to see painting out at Pow Wow Hawaii this year?
123Klan: Almost all of them.
1xRUN: Aside from Pow Wow 2014, what are your plans for the new year?
123Klan: Many exhibitions are planned in Europe this summer, and Cali this winter.
