Naturel: This piece was created in November of 2013. From start to finish I’d say this piece took me a few hours. Yes, it was part of the Picasso series I have been recently doing.
1xRun: Tell us how the idea and execution came about?
Naturel: After I did the Jay Z and Bcyonce Picasso baby, I thought it would hang nicely aside it.
1xRun: Why should people buy this print?
Naturel: Everyone loves Big Poppa.
1xRun: Describe this piece in one gut reaction word.
Naturel: Biggie. 
1xRun: When did you first start making art? What was your first piece?
Naturel: Since I was a child. I can’t really remember to be honest.
1xRun: What artists inspired you early on? What artists inspire you now?
Naturel: A mixture of painters and musicians. René Magritte, Tom Wesselmann, Jay Z, and Kanye West. As for now, it’s people like Jae West and Malika Favre.
1xRun: Do you listen to music while you work? If so what? If not then what is your environment like when you work?
Naturel: A lot of Kendrick Lamar.
1xRun: If you could collaborate with any living artist who would it be and why? Any deceased artists?
Naturel: Prince, the musician. I would love to do a version of Madonna’s Sex Book mixed with Purple Rain. For the latter, it would be Francis Bacon and Jay Dilla. I would like to do an entire audio visual project to Dilla’s “Welcome To Detroit.”

Naturel: I will have a show at Poppington gallery coming up in May.
