1xRun: Tell us a little bit about this piece, is the original still for sale?
Tes One: Yes, the original painting is currently available via 1AM Gallery.

1xRUN: What materials did you use to create this piece?
Tes One: This painting is made up of acrylic and spray paint on a 36”x 36” wood panel box frame.
1xRun: When was the piece created?
Tes One: February, 2013.
1xRun: Tell us how the idea and execution came about?
Tes One: I made this piece while preparing for an alumni show put together by my high school. Just before I started the painting, I received word that one of my favorite art teachers, Lawrence Miller, had past. This news completely changed my approach to the work and “Insight” is a tribute to him and the wisdom he shared with others.
1xRun: How long did the piece take?
Tes One: Roughly a week.
1xRun: Describe this piece in one word.
Tes One: Insight.
1xRun: What have you been up to since our last release, bring us up to speed on some of your latest projects and work..
Tes One: Quite a bit. Since I work within a few different disciplines, I take on design projects in addition to my paintings. Projects for Converse, Architectural Digest, Nixon, and the World Cup took place within the past year, along with commissioned paintings and mural work.
1xRun: Have there been any artists new or old that have been inspiring you as of late?
Tes One: A few staples for me are Robert Motherwell, Milton Glaser, Saul Bass, Phil Frost & Barry Mcgee. ETUM CRU and Cyrcle have been doing some great work as well.

1xRun: Any upcoming events or shows that you have that you want to share?
Tes One: A few mural projects in the works and I have a show coming up this December in San Francisco with my good friend and fellow artist, BASK, at the 1AM Gallery.
