Kenor Returns With Polyrhythmic Beats

1xRun Thru Interview
Polyrhythmic Beats by Kenor

1xRun: Tell us a little bit about this piece, is the original still for sale?
Kenor: I did this piece in September of 2014 using spray paint on canvas and it took me about two months to complete. In this piece I transform electronic music in pictures and deconstruct the form into what you see here. The original is sold. This canvas has the name of my last solo show in Paris, ”Polyrythmic Beats” at Galerie Celal. Is circular diameter of 195 centimeters, a great piece.

1xRun: Was this piece part of a recent theme, series or show that you had? If so how did it fit into that given grouping?
Kenor: This is my first piece completely circular. Here a new world of possibilities. Leaving the square and rectangular support. The circle has no end.

1xRUN: What materials did you use to create this piece?
Kenor: Spray & Acrylic paint on canvas.

1xRun: Anything immediate you would like us to highlight?
Kenor: My painting is like flamenco music. Action-reaction at the (same) time.

1xRun: Tell us how the idea and execution came about?
Kenor: The idea started when I was watching the film by Alfonso Cuarón, “Gravity”. The idea was to create a lost in the universe without gravity rotating object.

1xRun: How long did the piece take?
Kenor: Since the day I was born.

1xRun: Why should people buy this print?
Kenor: Inside has life. Inside has a small motion sensor makes turning the canvas. It is a piece that when in contact with the viewer begins to turn.

1xRun: Describe the print in one gut reaction word.
Kenor: Floating point.
