ACT/ART’s #Iamthemany Showcases 1xRUN Alum At White House
This past week, 1xRUN made several one off prints for alumni Logan Hicks, Jon Burgerman, Gilf! and Eno Laget who were 4 of roughly a dozen artists from the #Iamthemany campaign to have their work displayed at the White House for their partnership with ACT/ART. Additional artists included, Tim Okamura, Aerosynlex, Michel Chamberland, Luis Alejo, Jonathan Moody, Paz Fernandez, Heather Ripley Cheryl Pope and Nyguen Smith.
The White House partnered with ACT/ART in order to engage and mobilize the arts community and build broad public awareness around key administration priorities. The White House offers strategic guidance around its policy agenda and helps lift ACT/ART activities through access to its own programs and initiatives. In turn, the public is encouraged to partake in acts of art to further amplify awareness. ACT/ART is affiliated with a broad range of partners who believe in the power of art to communicate viscerally and instigate positive change, and 1xRUN is extremely proud to be a part of ACT/ART alongside SeeMe, AfroPunk, Morgan Spurlock, Juxtapoz, Dream, ArtNerd, Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, The Creatives Project and CreativeTime.
