1xRUN: When was this piece created?
Stinkfish: September 2012 while I was in Paris, France. The piece is located at the back part of a carousel in a park of Paris.
1xRUN: Can you talk about how the idea and execution came about?
Stinkfish: The piece is based on a photo that I took in a gypsy neighborhood “Zorroza” at the city of Bilbao (Spain) last year in May. The following year I was painting a wall with my friend Malk, when a lot of kids come to us to ask about the wall and play around. At the end the whole family was around us, one of the members of the family was this little girl with these powerful eyes and a really special and strange energy.
1xRUN: Can you tell us a bit about some of the inspiration for this piece?
Stinkfish: The eyes of the girl, the Quetzal bird from central america, Love, Graffiti, kids…
