Bobby Hill Paints The Brooklyn Bridge

1xRUN Thru Interview
Brooklyn Bridge by Bobby Hill

1xRun: Tell us a little bit about these prints, how did the idea and execution came about?
Bobby Hill:   They were created over a two month period from starting last September. The idea for the Brooklyn Bridge image came about from a friend’s suggestion after he saw that I discontinued selling another Brooklyn Bridge image. Take notice of the colors rather than the image, even though that might be difficult to do sometimes. The colors represent what’s going on in my life at any given moment.

1xRun: How long did the piece take?
Bobby Hill:
They took about two months to complete, working off and on.

1xRun: What is unique about this piece?
Bobby Hill:  Each piece is unique because of the hand-painted colors and hand screen-printed images.

1xRun: Describe this print in one gut reaction word.
Bobby Hill:  NYC.

1xRun: What else have you been up to lately? what else do you have in the works?
Bobby Hill: For 2013 I will probably start planning another art tour of my canvases. Working on a new style and finishing up a bunch of new prints that i will start releasing on my site..

1xRun: Where else can people find you?
Bobby Hill: Website
