Take a look behind the scenes of POW! WOW! Hawaii as the 1xRUN team ventured out to the 5th annual POW!WOW! Hawaii mural festival this past February. POW!WOW! Hawaii is a whirlwind of artists collaborating on murals, as well as installation artists using every medium from spray paint to yarn and everything in between. Nearly every medium you can imagine is used to create fine art, both on and off the walls. The result is the once bland neighborhood of Honolulu’s Kaka’ako gets flooded with the world’s best emerging and established artists for one of the world’s most diverse mural festivals. The 1xRUN team had a trip full to the brim of non-stop painting, selling prints & making new friendships during the hectic yet beautiful week that is POW!WOW! Hawaii.
