Shepard Fairey is the man behind the world famous Obey Giant artwork, clothing, prints and sticker revolution. His iconography has become so omnipresent, that regardless of who you are, you (or somebody you know) owns a piece of Obey clothing or art. In May of 2015, Fairey painted his largest mural to date in Detroit and also brought his Printed Matter exhibition to Library Street Collective. To coincide with the event Library Street brought local filmmaker Chris Hersey in and he shot a wonderful video documenting Fairey’s time here in the Motor City and his work. Click below to watch.
